Delete your account
In the app
- Open anypush and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Tap Yes, delete my account, and confirm it once more.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period, and it cannot be undone.
Without the app
Uninstalled already? Send an email from the address you signed up with to hello@anypush.app, with the subject “Delete my anypush account”. The account is deleted within 30 days, and you get a reply when it is done.
What is deleted
Everything stored with your account, at once, except purchase records:
- your email address, your Google account id, any password hash and name, and any answer to “How did you hear about us?”;
- all your hooks, with their links and email addresses, which stop working;
- every message in your inbox;
- your devices, push tokens, sign-in sessions and preferences.
Deleting your account also ends any Plus time you have left. Bought a pass in the last 14 days? Ask for your refund before you delete (see the terms).
What is kept
Purchase records stay for 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it. They hold the Google Play order id, which pass you bought and when, and no message content. Our daily backups are kept for 7 days, so everything else is gone from them within 7 days. Server logs, which hold internal ids (of your account, hooks and messages) but no message content, are kept for at most 30 days. If you turned crash reports on, reports already sent stay with Google (Firebase Crashlytics) for 90 days; they hold a random installation id, not your account.
